Let me introduce myself...I'm Mrs. Cummins

I can't believe that it is really over. It was amazing. The wedding, the honeymoon, EVERYTHING!! Married life has just begun and reality...SET IN!! We had a fabulous time while we were gone. We didn't have a TV for a week, so it forced us to get to know each other and talk. I fell more in love with him and he with me. I didn't know that I could love another person as much as I love him. I have never felt so much love from another person as I do him. Even when I feel YUCK about myself, he reminds me how gorgeous I am...what an amazing husband.

I will share with you what we did on our honeymoon...what I can share anyways...HA HA HA HA

Well, we left home Saturday night about 6:45 to head to Pittsburgh and arrived at the hotel at about 12:20 am. We were both exhausted. They didn't have anything right with our reservation, the lady was rude and didn't cooperate at all...I was furious and just wanted to cry. I set it up so that when we got there, there would be a bottle of champagne and strawberries there for us and there wasn't. I had it pictured in my mind how it was going to be and it wasn't like that at all, but my wonderful husband eased me and told me that stuff didn't matter. What mattered was that we were there together and that we were married. So we went to bed.

We got up in the morning, had breakfast, packed, and headed to Taney town, MD to the Antrim 1844. We got there around 5:30. They were so warm and so nice...just like I remembered. If you have a chance, look at the web site...www.antrim1844.com. We stayed in the Smith house in the Chamberlain Suite. For the first 4 nights of our stay, no one else was in the house, so it was so quiet and we loved it. Monday we played tennis, layed out, took at nap, then got ready for our 5 course meal. Now, if you have never had a meal that large...let me explain it to you. Our hour 'd eaus (or however you spell it) started at 6:30. Those lasted until 7:00 when we got seated for our meal. We then got a pre-appetizer after about 15 minutes. We ate that, got a bottle of wine, then the appetizer came. Now please bear in mind, there is about 15 minutes between every course. Do as the French do right? So we went on like that until 9:20 when we looked at each other and said that the same time...I am tired of chewing. So, we got the dessert sent back to our room along with the other half of our bottle of wine. We were so sick of eating, but the food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Beth, you would have loved it.

Tuesday we went to Gettysburg and I dreaded this day. I have been to Gettysburg a few times and really haven't cared for it at all, but my hubby wanted to go, so I went...knowing that I was going to hate it. We booked 2 seats on a motor coach bus to do a historical tour of the battlefield. The tour guide that we got was Jim and he was AWESOME! I felt like I was part of the battle. If I could get him every time that we went, I would have gone everyday. It was a 2 hour tour and it felt like we were on there for about 45 minutes. He was awesome. We had a great day in Gettysburg.

Wednesday, we spent all day just chillin and enjoying each other. Wednesday night we went down to Fredrick, MD where my friend Devonne lives with her hubby and met the two of them and her parents there for dinner. They had never met Rich(excluding Devonne, since she was in the wedding), so I wanted him to meet them. We ate at a Mexican place called Casa Rico's...only on the east coast I believe. I got a chimichunga and Rich got a burrito. Now, this burrito wasn't you everyday burrito. It took up the whole plate. When I say whole plate, it was almost a foot long and about 5 inches wide. He and Greg (Devonne's hubby) had a burrito eating contest and it was so funny. Devonne's parents, Rob and Wilma, were so sweet to him and Rob was his usual dirty self...so crazy.

Thursday we didn't nothing. We went back into Gettysburg to get everyone's gifts and then just spent the rest of the day doing nothing. It was so awesome.

Friday we checked out of the Antrim by 11 and headed back to Pittsburgh and left Pittsburgh early Saturday morning and got home at 2:30. It was awesome.

While we were there, we saw a movie that every married couple should see. If you are having a ton of problems, not problems at all, or are just bored in your marriage...GO SEE IT!! We saw Fireproof and it so touched us. We both cried, we both laughed! It is an amazing movie. I won't explain anything about it, but you HAVE to see it with your husband or wife!!

We had a great time and thank you all for those of you who did come to the wedding. I hope that you enjoyed it. I would welcome any feedback that you might have.

We love you,

The new and expanded,
